Our History

In August 2022, was the beginning of a journey to create a sisterhood among women from Maryland. This bond led to friendship, dedication, and loyalty. They strived to create an organization for sisterhood, community service, and build womanhood.

After much thought and consideration, Founder Burton decided to form a sisterhood for women that are pursuing and/or working in a trade skill and women entrepreneurs.

On April 22, 2023, seven women were inducted into the sorority in what came to be known as The New Era line.  Then on August 27, 2023 one woman was proudly inducted into the sorority which came to be known as The Exclusive line.

Then in November 2023, Founder Burton  decided to branch into different aspects of the organization. Which led Founder Burton vowed to continue the path that was originally sought after. She has continued to build the bonds of sisterhood within the organization of the members.

Founder Burton continued the path to bring the sorority to a more diverse organization which led the organization to become known as Delta Theta Delta Sorority, Inc. on April 22, 2024.
